When playing poker, you should analyze the behaviour of your opponents: you have to find out the style of their play, their habits, their weaknesses and strengths since you have to ajust your strategy according to their play and make it a winning strategy. The detailed analysis of the opponents is known as “read” since you are reading the minds and the cards of your opponents and then you are able to predict their possible reaction to different situations. During the game you have to watch the reactions of the players and make conclusions. You can do that even when you are not playing in this game. You must be sure that meanwhile other players do the same and analyze you. Do not forget that the main tactical rule is not to follow any rule. You have to be unpredictable. Try not to reveal your style of playing. Change the speed of your play all the time as well as your style.
